Terrence EXETER Obituary

EXETER, Terrence Charles. It is with great sadness we share the passing of Terry, on Sunday 15th March 2026 aged 78 years, who "did it his way" at home, surrounded by his wife and family. A dearly loved husband and soulmate to Kaye. Beloved father and father-in-law to Maria and Tony, Shelley and Antonio, Rachael and Lee, Nadine and Stefan, and Perri and Joash. A treasured Poppa to Mitchell and Caitlin, Jake, Logan, Corbin, Brooke, Alex, Reuben, Israel, and Isla. Old Poppa to Finn, and Luka. Dearest brother of the late Lorraine and Russell. You touched so many lives and will be greatly missed, and the memories we shared will always be cherished. Our grateful thanks for the support from Cranford Hospice, and Christine for her wonderful care of Terry. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 25th March 2026 at 1.30pm at the Napier Tech Club Rooms, 91 Barker Road, Marewa, Napier. Messages to the 'Exeter Family' C/- PO Box 7001, Taradale, Napier 4141.

Thinking of you Kaye at this sad time and can imagine how hard this must be. Terry was such a lovely man and your humour between you was adored. X

We remember Terry as a cheeky teenager who was always smiling, and we have nothing but fond memories of him. It is no surprise that he has achieved so much in his life since then. We feel so sad that someone who had so much and so many to live for is no longer with us. A very special man.
We send our thoughts and love to Kaye and family.

Condolences to the Exeter family.
When my dad ( Jack Dale) first arrived in Napier from the UK with his friend John McDermott, the first person they met was Terry´s mother Maisie. Dad boarded with the Exeter´s and from there the friendship grew.
RIP Terry. We will miss your happy smiling face and laughter.
