Christopher PICKERING Obituary

PICKERING, Christopher Morris (Picko). 19.11.1949 - 6.11.2025 Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love and family. A brave man at the end of a hard fought journey. Rest in peace my love, Teresa, Katy, Samantha, Wade and Rick. Fun grandad of Oliver, Leo, Lola, Braedan, Chevaughn and Tia. A service will be held at Maunu Crematorium, Gate 5, Cemetery Rd, Whangarei, Tuesday 11 Nov, 10.30am. In lieu of flowers a donation to North Haven Hospice would be appreciated. Please accept my condolences. I held Chris in such high regard. He was an absolute fitness legend and an inspiration to so many at Kensington Fitness Centre over many years. I always played "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol for him in RPM as he just loved some of the old banging tunes. RIP Chris - you made your mark
