Eric SMITH Obituary

SMITH, Eric Timothy (ET) Born 27 March 1927 and passed away 10 February 2022. Much loved husband of the late Laurel and father of daughter Janine. His strength and determination saw him stay in his own home until last month. He showed me unconditional love and support and understanding. He was intelligent, strong, wise and caring and shaped who I am today. He influenced many others- friends, family and business colleagues, whose lives he touched. He was known in the Elizabeth Knox community and my thanks to them all for their care, love and affection for dad. It made a difference. He is now where he wanted to be having led a full and active life. Love forever Janine.

We only met occasionally in Eric´s latter years but, through Janine´s anecdotes, I felt I knew him well. Was chuffed to know of his association with Samoa, where I worked briefly. We know he will be missed and our love and condolences go to Janine and the wider family,
