George Herbert MORRIS

MORRIS, George Herbert. 29/10/1941 - 27/09/2025 Much dearly loved son of the late George and Rita Morris. A cherished brother to Ken and Jean Morris, Fay and Don Billington, Joan and Athol Bushby (all deceased) Dawn and the late Alan Billington, Betty and the late Clive Pattinson, Rita and Angus Finlayson, Sandy and the late Don Morris, and Brett and Shirley Miller. A very special uncle and mentor to James and Craig Morris and their families, a much loved uncle to many. A farmer, hunter, and rock hound, stories and adventures abound. His wartime knowledge was outstanding. Our grateful thanks to the caring staff at Alice Court, Kamo Home and Village, your dedication in caring for George for the past 28 months was outstanding, and was much appreciated by him and our family. Hey George let's go play Bingo! A private cremation has taken place. There's a commemoration tribute to be held at the Hikurangi Golf Club, Marua Rd, Hikurangi at 1pm on FRIDAY 10th October 2025.
