NIELSEN, Peter Christian. 24/07/1938 - 05/10/2025 Born at Taumarunui, eldest son of Beatrice and Peter Nielsen. Respected husband of Valerie, loved father of Sharon, Andrea, Shane and Susan. Respected father-in- law and grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grand children. Loving brother to Heather and Joyce, and the late Dorothy, Joan and Brian. Service 1.30pm Monday 13 October, Baptist Church, 202 Bank Street, Whangarei. Always in our hearts, never forgotten. A Graceful Undertaking 09 988 9502

Good bye Pete, I knew you as a shearing mate in 1957. You were the most successful man I ever knew. You climbed up from difficult beginnings to be a wonderful husband to Val who was your real partner, great father to your children far far ahead of your own childhood and ,a cheerful friend. The world can ill afford to lose people of your calibre. Barry.
