DAVID Poipoi Manuhiri Passed away peace- fully, surrounded by family on 23rd May 2019; aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Patricia Elizabeth David. Much loved father of Poi, Hana and Lee. Papa and Great Grand Papa of all his Mokos. He will be sadly missed by all his Whanau and Friends. Poi's Tangi is being held at his home in Russell. A funeral service to celebrate his life with be held at his home on Monday, 27th May 2019 at 10am; followed by burial in the Long Beach Cemetery, Russell. REWIRI- DAVID Manuhiri Poipoi Peacefully passed away at the Bay of Islands Hospital on Thursday 23 May 2019; aged 85. Beloved son of the late Wiremu and Ngaurupa Rewiri. Treasured grandson of the late Waina Hana Tautohea Korokoro Cross. Poi was a caring, kind-giving and selfless person who was a loved member of his family and the Russell Community whom he touched the lives of many. "God saw you getting tired dear Brother, A cure was not to be; So he put His arms around you and Whispered 'Come to Me'. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands at rest; God broke our Hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best" Loved forever and always, Moana and Whanau.
