I sadly heard of Dianne´s sudden passing through someone who trained with us all at Northshore Teachers College 78/79.
I remember Dianne as a happy fun loving young woman. We were fresh out of school.
I´m sure her love of young children steered her into ECE and stayed with her as she had her own children.
My heart goes out to all her family, heading into the future without her. Hold those memories close to your hearts and never stop talking about her. Gone far too soon

I was so sad to hear this news. I had the immense pleasure of working with Dianne and even spent a few months as her line manager, an experience she claimed to enjoy - I will never know if that was the truth as she always said it with a wink and cheeky smile that lit up her entire face! I loved hearing her stories about growing up in Pukekohe, there was never a lull or dull moment when in conversation with her, she was somebody you just enjoyed spending time with. I extend my love to all her family and friends as you grieve and deal with this loss.

Always smiling, always so helpful, always so unruffled! She will be sorely missed by all.

Dianne was a loving, supportive wife, mother and grandmother. She was generous, kind and caring.
I stayed with Bryan and Dianne on many occasions when I returned to NZ to visit family and friends. Dianne was a great host, organizing meals and get-togethers at their family home.
Dianne and I shared a similar experience and understanding as children of first generation immigrants. I had the pleasure of meeting Dianne's family at their farm in Pukekohe where I have family also.
I know Dianne will live on through her loving husband Bryan, their wonderful children and grandchildren.
On behalf of my extended family, we would like to offer our deepest condolences. Babu, Martha, Nisha, Josh and Eva.
