Edward DOHERTY Obituary

DOHERTY, Edward Francis. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 22 November 2023. Son of the late Edward Joseph and May Beatrice Doherty. Brother of Mary and the late Patrick and Joseph. Dearly loved husband of Monica Anne. Father of Paul and James. Grandfather of Joel, Flynn and Niamh. Cherished uncle and friend to many. A Requiem Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 66 Main Highway, Ellerslie on Tuesday 28 November at 11.00 am.

Sincere condolences to Anne and family, Eddie was a true and very loyal member and Life member of the Avondale Jockey Club. Instrumental in leading a group who saved AJC back in 1990. We will continue the fight Eddie in your memory. A great mentor to me.
RIP Eddie. I know it´s been a struggle. Now at peace.
