DAVIDSON, Edwin Roy (Ted). Passed peacefully on 30th July 2021, at home, aged 90 years. Dearly loved husband of Mavis, his best mate for 68 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Greg and Vicki, and very special Grandad of Nigel and Katie, Jared, and Hayley. A man of many talents, forever in our hearts. A celebration of Ted's life will be held at Classic Flyers Museum, Jean Batten Drive, Mount Maunganui, on Thursday 5th August at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Waipuna Hospice would be appreciated (at the service or online).

To Mavis, Greg, Vicky and children
I am so sorry to hear this very sad news. Although I haven't seen Ted for many years I remember what a lovely lovely kind man he was! He taught me how to swim and many many others too I am sure:) as well as other things. He was a great asset to this world. You will miss him terribly. I would like to be there with you today as you celebrate his life but I am unable to be. I am thinking of you all with love and heartfelt sympathy.
