Graeme HANDISIDES Obituary

HANDISIDES, Graeme John. Born 10th June 1941. Passed away peacefully at home, Tuesday 26th October 2021, aged 80 years, after a long battle with cancer. Much loved soulmate, partner and friend of Maree. Loved father of John, Deborah, Timothy, Brendon and Michael, father in law of Robyn, Steve and Clare. Treasured Grandad of Jessica, Nikita, Harrison, Kurtis (deceased), Austin, Sebastian and Ava. Loved brother of Kevin, Barry, Paul, Tony (all deceased) and his loving sister Moira, and sister in laws Maureen, Margaret, Maria, Ngaire and the late Margaret. Loved by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Loved ex-husband of Franny. Graeme had an eventful life from driving at speedway and stockcars, fishing, loved parties and in later year's ownership in several horses where "Patrick Erin" won the Metropolitan Cup at Randwick - so exciting. "He did it his way, and lived life to the fullest, He will be deeply missed. Slainte Mhath" In lieu of flowers the family would love any donation to the Cancer Society or Wild Bird Care - NZ. Due to the current restrictions a Private Family Gathering will be held, and a Memorial Service at a later date.

My popsicle Graemey, how lucky was I to have you as my Dad and best friend - you taught me so much but we had some great times together for which I will be forever grateful. Words can't express how much we will miss having your physical presence around to laugh with and talk to, but I know you will be with me in spirit and in my heart always! Love you to the moon and back Dad! Have fun up in heaven - your loving daughter Debs and son-in-law Steve.
