Harry NETTEN Obituary

NETTEN, Harry John. Born November 9, 1932. Passed away on November 3, 2021. After a long and full life Harry left us in the early hours of Wednesday morning. A gardener, carpenter, farmer, sailor, sportsman, reader, artist, father and most notably - an Architect. Harry was an incredibly kind hearted and generous man who will be remembered dearly by all who knew him well and was an inspiration, mentor and friend to many. He will be missed so much by his children Max, Leah, Joel, Mark, Linda, Angela and Hayley, and his partner Juliet. As per Harry's request, there will be no funeral but a private gathering will be held. Tyger Tyger burning bright, In the forests of the night: What immortal hand or eye, Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

I would like to express my condolences to Juliet and Harry's children and grandchildren at his passing . I worked for him in my early years as a graduate architect in the early 1960's @ Wilson ,Moodie & Gillespie - he was very helpful and kind to all of us there .I regarded his architecture highly ( part of the Group Architects mould ). He also had a great sense of humour . I can imagine that he will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him .

NETTEN, Harry John. Passed away peacefully in Auckland hospital 3 November 2021 in his 89th year. Loved husband and friend of Barbara, father of Linda, Hayley, Angela and Mark. Grandafther of Marcus, Arabella, Lucesca, Savannah, Harrison, Louis, Marco, Coco, Billie, and Rafferty. Loved brother of Basil (deceased) and sister-in-law Gae.
