Ernest James Worm
September 15, 1946 – July 22, 2016
Ernest suddenly passed at the age of 69. He was a great elder of the community, and loved and cared for everyone. Ernest had a big heart and was a great believer in the First Nations culture, loved to sing and watch his wife dance. He was the rock of the family. Ernest was predeceased by his wife Mary Worm, parents Peter and Margaret Worm, daughter Marie Kay, son Preston Worm, brother Dennis Worm, sisters Pearl Worm and Barbara Worm, nephews Gordon Worm and Cory Favel. Ernest will be sadly missed by his children Diane (Tim), Iva, Nora (Stacey), Selena, Allan (Pat), Donald (Marnell), Barbara (Darrell), William (Krystal), Ernest, Trevor, adopted daughter Jen (Mike); grandchildren Brandon, Michael, Jeffery, Joe, Kauiss, Lloyd, Philip, Willy, Sabastien; numerous nephews, nieces and great- grandchildren; brothers Kenny (Judy), Lorne (Lorna), Brian, Robert (Kathleen); sisters Leona, Vera (Doug), Sharon, Vivian. The Wake will be held in the New School Gym of Kawacatoose First Nation, Sask., on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at 4 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 29 at 2 p.m. at the same location, elders officiating. Arrangements entrusted to:
