KIRK, Jenny. Died peacefully 30 September after a short illness. Much loved wife of Owen, precious mother of John, Nik and partner Kat, and special Granny of Taeo and Neve. Loved sister of Bill, Mary, Kate and the late Alison. A cremation has taken place and a full service will be held when restrictions allow. In lieu of flowers donations to North Haven Hospice appreciated. An interesting life dedicated to fairness and community. A Graceful Undertaking PO Box 7036, Whangarei 0144

Fond memories of my true friend for almost 60 years, since we bonded at Auckland Business College as teenagers. That friendship sustained us both through some turbulent times as Jenny found her purpose in politics and I found mine on another continent. Always willing to listen, ready to help, eager to improve life in any way she could, even from thousands of miles away, Jenny was always my confidante and my strength.
RIP dear Jenny, you will remain forever in my heart.
