1985 - 2023

BIRSS, Joshua (Josh) Dwayne. 5th November 1985 to 5th February 2023. A tragic accident. So very dearly loved son of Wayne and Christine, plus an amazing older brother of Karl and Gemma. A wonderful, kind, generous, hardworking, honourable, humble, helpful son and brother with a fantastic sense of humour. Such an awesome practical joker, but always looking out for others. We love you so much Josh. Josh's service will be held at 1pm Saturday 11th February in the Waipu Celtic Barn, 39 The Centre, Waipu, followed by interment in the Waipu Cemetery, Hamon Road, Waipu. Josh loved Sunflowers just as much as he loved his Kai Moana. If joining us to celebrate Josh's life, feel free to wear bright colours. We were so lucky to have had Josh in our lives, but you left far too early. No parent should ever bury their child. It's been our privilege to be your family Josh. Of all the things we wear, your expression is the most important. We will miss your smile and your delightful sense of humour. The world may be short a comedian, but we are absolutely heart broken.
