Robert RENNER Obituary

RENNER, Robert Fredrick Martyn (Bob). On April 21, 2012 suddenly at his home; Aged 64 years. Dearly loved husband of Shirley, loved father and father-in-law of Stuart and Melanie, Kathy and Darryl Thomas (New Plymouth), loved grandad of Alexia, Mikaela; Blake, Emily, and Hannah. A Service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at the Chapel of the Davis Funeral Home, 2A Udys Road, Pakuranga on Friday April 27 at 12.30pm to be followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the National Heart Foundation, PO Box 17160, Greenlane would be appreciated. All communications to the Renner Family, C/- PO Box 56013, Dominion Road, Auckland 1446.

Bob's passing came as a dreadful shock.
He was a fellow member of the Auckland Model Aero Club and I will remember his cheery face and strong arm hurling gliders into the Karaka air on Sunday mornings.

I was so sad to hear the news about Bob. I was fortuate to meet Bob in 2009 when I was in Auckland. What a friendly and nice person with a ready smile. We appreciate all of the work Bob did during his thirteen years with the USG International team. Rest in peace, Bob.

I worked with Bob for many years and was shocked to hear about his passing on Monday. My memory of Bob is someone who was hard working, always friendly, and very positive. He always left me with a smile on my face. My thoughts are with all the members of your family as you go through this difficult time.

We were shocked when we received the bad news about Bob. We used to be worked together and shared all the gardening tips. We still can't believed last week was the last time we see each other. Good bye, Bob! We are going to miss you.Our thoughts are with all members of your family during this difficult time.

I was very shocked yesterday when I received the phone call about Bob. I never meet him, but we worked together for years. I have pictures of the whole family hanging in my office cube in Chicago, except for the twins. I loved exchanging e-mails, pictures, and phone calls with him. In fact the work interfered with our friendship. My thoughts and prayers are with you. What a wonderful man, he was so proud of his family!!!!
