Alfred ORDISH Obituary

ORDISH, Alfred James (Alf). Peacefully with family on 9 July 2015 at Te Puke Country Lodge, aged 96 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Rhoda. Loved father and father-in- law of Carolyn and Mani, Dennis and Helen, Ruth, Mark and Vicky, Ali and Denis. Grandpop to 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A service for Alf will be held at the Te Puke Methodist Church, Oroua St, Te Puke on Monday 13 July at 11.00am followed by private cremation. All messages to the Ordish Family C/- P O Box 650, Tauranga 3140.

Dalefield Hockey Club Members extend loving sympathy to the Ordish family.
The Club appreciated the time and effort put into the Club by both Alf and Rhoda during Alf's playing and coaching time in Dalefield.
I remember having Alf as a Coach and Mentor in the 60s and all those yellow shirts on their clothesline after every winter weekend.
