INNES, John. "Hardy" Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 28 October 2025, aged 92. Beloved husband of Marion for 63 years. Loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Nicki and Michael, Michael and Donna. Adored grandad of Andy, Micayla and Lauren (dec'd). We will remember your smile, your sense of humour, your dedication to family and you will forever be in our hearts. Hardy, You were such a wonderful, kind man. Forever smiling, laughing and joking. I remember when I asked you for a work reference so many years ago and you gave me two. One was a glowing review which I could give any potential empoyer and one which was full of cheekiness. I had to be careful not to mix them up!
You were such a kind soul. We will miss your happy face.
It is now your time to rest.

Hardy.
I met you through Marion and her Avon orders.
You were the most interesting man and so kind to me and my son Anthony.
You and Marion would sometimes help me out by looking after Anthony when I had to work. You two had a special bond and I especially remember when Anthony had completed a Weetbix Triathalon and wanted to come around to show you his medal and in return, you showed him your medal from your compulsory army training
May now rest in eternal peace.
