Thomas JOHNSON Obituary
JOHNSON, Thomas Wakefield. (Tom) Peacefully at Rotorua hospital on 24th March 2019. Husband of the late Wynne Dorothea Johnson (nee Lanihan). Loved father of Philipa and the late Judith. Cherished grandfather of Justin and great grandfather of Ryan and Toby. Tom's funeral service will be held at 2pm, Tuesday 26th March, at Osborne's Funeral Directors, 197 Old Taupo Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated, and may be left at the service.

Hi Philipa and Justin and family,
Very sorry to hear of Uncle Tom's passing. The last of the band of brothers. We have such fond memories of our childhood holidays in Ohiwa. Uncle Tom was always such a good laugh and played the fool with us silly children. We remember the boat and the tractor on the beach, the beautiful snapper caught by Uncle Tom and eaten avidly by adults and children alike. One day Uncle Tom made scrambled eggs with parsley and it came out quite green! We ate it up though! Also we remember the long drop!
Thinking of you always and all the memories.
