Hilda THOMSON Obituary
Hilda passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Rex. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Glenis and Preston Shaw, Raewyn and Michael Fleck, Craig and Catherine Thomson, Doug and Prudence Thomson, and Bruce Thomson and Linda Gordon. Loved grandmother of her 12 grandchildren and loved great-grandmother of her 22 great-grandchildren. As to Hilda's wishes, a private cremation has taken place and a family graveside farewell will be held at a later date. Hilda's family wish to thank the staff at Bupa Rest Home and Hospital for their wonderful care. Messages to 43 Piopio Street, Te Anau 9600.

So sorry to learn of Hilda's passing, my Condolences go to the Family, I hope you have some wonderful memories. I will miss the Bus and Car Trips we had over the Years, and the Visits Brian Pears and I did to Hilda at Bupa. We had some Lovely Talks together. I first met Rex in the Late 40s when staying over the Road, and Hilda when they Married. I Admired Hilda's Painting's when on display, She was a Talented Lady, and will be missed by all.

Hilda was a beautiful artist and so thrilled to share her love of watercolour with me, even when it was hard for her to see. Her encouragement and support was so impactful for me and i will never forget her generosity for this. Every time I look at a Winter Rose, I will think fondly of Hilda. Condolences to her family, I was very sad to see she had passed.
