So shocked to read of Nathan's passing. I have many happy memories of the boys during St Josephs Primary school years - when Nathan started school Michael went from hating it (school) to being first in the car every morning! They were inseparable for many years. So, so sorry. Anne Hoogeveen

To Nathan's immediate family.
We wish to extend our deepest sympathy in the loss of Nathan.
My wife and I got to know Nathan, because he helped me get to understand diabetes, I always found him to be very patient and understanding when explaining the sickness to me about the disease. He always found the time to give you that one on one personal care and service, we will sadly miss him, a very nice chappie, RIP.

I went to the Chemist today like so many others to see the lights out, wondering why I saw the notice . Truly sad about the words, so was the other person in her car, got to know you as the dispenser of my medication, your kindness, and always being behind the work bench, you will be very missed in Stratford everyone knew you. And to the girls at the chemist Kea kaha. To your whanau, Nathan is so respected and will always be in Stratfords thoughts.

I remember working together at the pharmacy in the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. I remember joking that our door code was Pi and Nathan being the only one who straight away got that it was 314. I remember after his accident Nathan's parents and Crystal staying in our house in Oxford because we were going to NZ for a month. I phoned the ward Nathan was on, and asked to speak to his parents and offered them our house before phoning my husband to say folks were going to stay in our house while we were away. May you Rest In Peace

An Old Boy of Francis Douglas Memorial College taken far too soon. Brave, proud, gutsy, courageous, superhuman. We are going to miss your cheeky grin. A true Taranaki hero. Christo Duce. With love from the Lads of '94. Blocker, Clegg, Dundas, Hammy, Hartman, Jono "T-Roll", Keegs, PG, Rabbi, Sully, T-Bone. You will forever be part of who we are. Rest in peace our Brother.
