Late of Redcliffe (Brisbane), formerly of Christchurch, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, aged 82 years. Dearly beloved husband of Lynda, much adored step-Dad of Carrie and Duncan, and loved brother. Private Burial to be held.

To Lynda and family. Deepest sympathy in the loss of Bernie. Have fond memories of the St Mary's and Marist Rugby games, the beers after, Owens Rhubarb wine. Great service at the Bower and management at the Phoenix. Enjoyed our recent catch up at Redcciffe. You will be missed . Bill Garth

Sending love to Lynda and family after the loss of Bernie. Lots of lovely memories of Bernie especially playing the piano accordion at many a family gathering! Bernie had a great sense of humour and a lovable personality. Rest in peace Uncle Bernie. Say hi to Dad and behave yourselves up there. Lots of love Suzanne xxx
