Donald McCORMICK Obituary

On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, unexpectedly, aged 77 years. Loved husband of Madeleine, a dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Richard and Kate, Deborah and Bruce, Nic and Vicky (Scotland), adored Grandad of Rosie and Archie, Daisy and Oli (Scotland), Georgie, & little Pearl. A loved brother and brother-in-law of Kevin and Hilary, Judith and Barry Inch, Clare and Philip Beer, also a loved brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to all. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Ian McCormick, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John would be appreciated, and may be made online at stjohn.org.nz. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral, 373 Manchester Street, on Thursday, August 28, at noon. Recitation of the rosary will be held in the church on Wednesday, August 27, at 7.00pm. Recitation of the rosary and personal tributes will be held in the church on Wednesday, August 27, at 7.00pm. Limited parking on site. Consider Ride Share or Carpooling.
