After years of being acquaintances, I have enjoyed very much becoming friends with Pat in the past 18 months. Pat loved his family, friends, rugby and cricket and conversed articulately and passionately on those topics and many others. Pat believed in people and as many have found, proved to be a faithful friend. Pat had a deep love for Judy, Paul and Ryan. His health issues were immense but he never complained. Paul and Ryan, I am going to miss your Dad very much. He was fine man with a wonderful set of values that he lived his life by. We can best remember him by caring about others as he did throughout his life. Thinking of you both at this time.

Pat was my manager at the Christchurch Airport.

Pat was a gentleman, kind and he cared about his staff.
An excellent manager his knowledge and wisdom was sorely missed when her retired.
