1 Entry
My condolences to the family for your loss.
My memories of Aunty Rosalie were her abundance of preserves. If it was grown in the garden and not eaten when it was ready to be consumed, it was preserved or pickled for later use.
Rosalie shared her fruit cake recipe many years ago with my wife Liz, Rosalie's neice. This was simply shown in her book as 'Auntie Rosalie's Fruit cake recipe'. Over the years the page became quite grubby as Liz created numerous wedding, birthday and Christmas cakes until she could do it from memory without the recipe.
Cherish the memories you have and let them comfort you of the times past.
Sincerely Garry Bearman
and the Late Liz Bearman (nee Linton)
