Thomas TREACY Obituary

(Formerly of Dunedin) On Monday, May 19, 2025, after a short illness, peacefully at Holly Lea, surrounded by family, aged 82 years. Dearly loved husband of Val, loved father and father-in-law of Bridget and Greg, Gerard and Marissa, Bernard and Sally. Loved grandfather of Edward, Lucy, James, Ella, Marvin, Luciana, Oscar, Xavier, and Louis. Thank you to the staff at Christchurch Hospital and Holly Lea for their kindness and care. Messages may be sent to PO Box 34060, Riccarton, Christchurch 8440. Requiem Mass at St Teresa's Catholic Church, 8 Puriri Street, Riccarton, on Saturday, May 24, at 10.00am, followed by interment at Yaldhurst Cemetery at 1.00pm.

So sad to hear of Tom's passing. Tom and Val were extremely kind to my family and I when we lived in Christchurch 2013/15.

Sad to see Tom's passing I knew tom back I 963 when he was auctioneer for William won wairapa fruit agencies we had great times together and have always kept in touch over the years my condolences to Val and family we could tell heaps of stories between us I also knew his father very well being in the industry
