Alex MATHESON Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 24 August 2025 in the presence of his loving wife Philippa and daughter Rosie, aged 79. Much loved dad of Alex, Lara, Anna and Krista, and grandad of Stefanija, Mowgli, Liam, Caitlin, Greta, Amelia, George, and Ethan. Cherished brother to Mary, Gay, Helen, Angela, Jim, and Don. A Funeral Service to celebrate Alex's life will be held at FW Hagedorn Memorial Chapel, 123 Derby Street, Westport, on Friday, 29 August at 1.00pm, followed by an interment at the Orowaiti Cemetery. Tributes may be left at, and a livestream of his service can be accessed at www.hagedorns.co.nz/tributes. Messages of love and support can be sent to Philippa and family at 88 Peel Street, Westport 7825.
