Alison TAYLOR Obituary

Tragically died as a result of an accident in Zambia, July 3, 2025, aged 67 years. Dearly loved daughter of the late Alex and Dorothy Taylor (Frankton), loved sister and sister-in-law of Bill and Jill (Queenstown), David and Katrina (Auckland), loved Aunt of Andrew, Nicola and Tom Wylie, Alanna Taylor and Rob Campbell; Madison, Hannah Taylor and Brendan Lindsay. A loved Great-Aunt. A Farewell Gathering for Alison will be held in Wellington on Friday, August 15, with further details to be advised. Lovely memories of a supportive Manager at Statistics New Zealand in the late 1990´s. We shared many travel tales and I´m so glad you got to experience so many trips away.

I have known Ali since we were both aged 19 at Uni and flatting together in Wellington.
Ali has always been a hospitable friend ,a fabulous cook and interested in many things.
She has had many adventures over the years travelling and is very missed.Condolensces to her family and I look forward to her memorial in Wellington.

I've known Alison since she was a young person in Lora Gorge when my dad was the school teacher. All I can say was Alison was having life adventures when she was taken, with all her traveling and she had been enjoying making memories. I am so sorry to the family for this tragic accident happened and thinking of you all.
