Dear Añnette and family,
Regretfully it was an untimely meeting when I ran into you in Wellington on my recent, brief trip home from Sydney. I was concerned to find out how Allan was. I was aware he was in poor health. My deepest sympathy to all of his family. My memories of Allan take me right back to fun times in Dunedin and on to Wellington where Allan and his bookshop in Newtown crossed paths with meeting you at CAB. I went to your wedding, so have known you for many years now. I enjoyed frequently encountering Allan when out and about.
Spend time reminiscing your splendid live and your family will bring you comfort in his absence.
All my love hugs and support from this distance. I too will miss Allans presence

So sorry to learn of Allan's death Annette and I send my deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Allan turned up endlessly in my life from Rehab League, DPA, Richmond Fellowship, Disabled Distributions. It was lovely bumping into you both a couple of years ago and spending some time with Allan.
Take good care and be kind and gentle to yourself, Annette.
