Aloma BARRY Obituary

Deputy Principal (SWIS). Passed away at home due to a medical event, aged 57 years. Beloved daughter of the late Kirby & Mabel. Dearly loved sister & sister-in-law of James & Joanne, Roy & Joyce, Mark & Dale. Loved aunt of Daniel, the late Jacob, Isaac, Joshua, Johanna, Shayna, Anna and Sarah. Loved and respected by all her extended family members. Messages and tributes may be sent C/- PO 14-366, Kilbirnie 6241, or placed in Aloma's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz where you can also join the service via livestream. A service to celebrate Aloma's life will be held at the Kilbirnie Salvation Army Hall, 175 Onepu Road, Kilbirnie, on Friday 17th January 2025 at 11.00am - thereafter private cremation.

I am so sad to hear of Aloma's death. My heartfelt sympathy to her family who have lost such a lovely person. Her calm, peaceful manner was admirable at school and she will be a great loss to the community. At school I found her to be always organised, kind and supportive. With respect and gratitude to a wonderful dedicated teacher. May she rest in peace.
