Ann AITKEN Obituary

On Tuesday, 7th October, 2025, died peacefully at Wellington Hospital, surrounded by family, after a very short illness. Music educator, in her 90th year. Much loved wife of Gerald (deceased). Mother and mother-in-law of Eleanor & Jamie, Matthew & Alyson, Roderick & Janelle and Stephen & Deborah. Grandmother of Ben, Violet, Alis, Sam, Jasmine, Jasper, Katherine, Rona and Daniel. Great-grandmother of Charlotte, August, Ari and Rosa. Heartfelt thanks are expressed by the family to the staff at Bob Scott, Shona McFarlane and Charles Fleming Retirement Villages for their wonderfully compassionate care of Ann over the last few years. Family farewelled Ann at a small service on Friday, 10th October. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Omanga Hospice.
