I just read about Annette´s passing. All my sympathies. I knew her at the Alliance française in Wellington. We exchanged messages, birthday and Christmas gifts since my return to Canada. Many good memories of a kind and wonderful lady.

So very sad to hear that Anne has passed away. She was such an amazing neighbour for 20 years and we remember her most beloved, John. She was so incredibly proud of her girls and the families that they went on to have. Anne's kindness (and incredible culinary skills) are remembered so fondly by our family. Much love to Johanna and Lesley - what a wonderful Mum you had.

I was saddened to read of the death of your Mother. Always so caring and thoughtful, Anne brought over a selection of homemade baking when our last child was born. Lovely memories of chatting with your Mother during Paremata kindy days.

Dear Johanna, Lesley and family, I was very sorry to read of the death of your mother,Annette, this morning. She was always so proud of you both and all that you have achieved. She was passionate about all of her family, a very kind, generous and caring woman walkways put others first. I first met Annette when I came to St Mary's and she was the very conscientious and efficient treasurer for the PTFA. Every year she and John provided morning tea for the college staff each Christmas. Delicious home baking which was always appreciated. Personally I always think of Annette as a person who was always filled with the joy of life. It was a privilege to have known her. Mary Cook
