Anthony MUNRO Obituary

On 27 December 2024, aged 77, peacefully, and lovingly surrounded by his family. Dearly loved brother of Cynthia and brother-in-law of Craig; cherished uncle of Melanie, Kylie & Anna and their partners Paul, Richie & Andy; a special great-uncle to Felix, Otis & Rory; and a kind and treasured friend to many. We also remember Tony's parents Alex and Irene and brother Norm (d.). A service to celebrate Tony's life will be held in Lychgate Funerals Chapel, 306 Willis Street, Wellington, on Friday 3 January 2025 at 10.00am, followed by a private cremation. In lieu of flowers, we invite donations to Unicef (unicef.org.nz) or Red Cross (redcross.org.nz). Our heartfelt thanks to Bupa Whitby staff and all who provided care for Tony. I met Tony while working at Bupa Crofton Downs as a Maintenance Officer. We got along well and I really enjoyed helping him with tasks around his home - he was a lovely, gentle person with a great laugh. Rest well, Tony.
