John died peacefully at home, aged 93, on 3 December 2025. Dearly loved husband of the late Barbara and the late Loretta. Much loved father and father-in-law of Peter & Lynne, Ashley, Kevan & Susan. Loved grandfather of Rose & Phillip, Jamie & Cat, Sarah, and William. Great-Grandpa Biscuit of Ava and Theo. Loved, missed and respected by his wider family. A special thank you to Tony and Julie and the Te Omanga Hospice team for their care and support. A private service has been held, as per John's wishes.
