Ringihia ngā roimata, he hotunga manawa ki a koe, moe atu rā e Te Ori. Audrey peacefully passed away at Huntleigh Rest Home in Karori, aged 87 years old. Beloved daughter of Hehira Ngaheu and Rangipuataata Kohu, Riki Hirini Kohu and Kahurere Ihaka. Dearly loved wife of the late Kenneth Banks. A loving aunty to her whānau, a beautiful friend and a respected member of her community. Thank you to everyone for the many heartfelt messages of condolence, kindness and aroha. Audrey's funeral service will be held at Lychgate Funeral Home, 7 Johnsonville Road, Wellington, at 11.00am on Thursday, 12 September 2024.

Ka aroha hoki. So sad to hear of Aud passing. She was a wonderful colleague and a great friend and colleague of my mother Isabelle May Jones. A beautiful, gentle soul departed. Kia okioki i runga i te rangimarie.

Audrey was a great presence at the Karori Community Centre. Always with a smile and a friendly chat. She was a valued volunteer at St John's op shop and a regular at Drop in on Fridays. It was always a pleasure to see Audrey in her red hat. She will be greatly missed.
