Bernard NEAZOR Obituary

On 12 January 2026, peacefully at Te Omanga Hospice, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of Mary. Much loved father of Bridget, Michael (deceased), Joanna and Anthony. Loved father-in-law of Paul and Stephen. Treasured grandfather of Joseph, Thomas, Emma and Alex. Loved brother of Bill (dec), Paul (dec), John (dec), Helen – Sister Angelo Roncalli, Nora, and Patrick (dec). In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Omanga Hospice would be appreciated. The family extend their heartfelt thanks to the hospice staff for their compassion, care and support. The Rosary will be held on Thursday 15 January at 7.00pm, at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lower Hutt. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 60 Knights Road, Lower Hutt, on Friday, 16 January 2026, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. Messages to the family may be sent to 'The Neazor Family', C/- PO Box 30-127, Lower Hutt 5040.

Joanna, it´s been many decades and I´m very sorry to learn of your father´s passing. I recall a lovely man who was always kind along with your mum and I used to love hearing about the exciting places he would visit on his work travels in those days before frequent plane travel was a thing. I still remember when he brought chocolate coins home from (Paris I think) including some for me and for some reason it´s always remained locked in as a wonderful childhood memory of mine. My sincerest condolences to you, Bridget and your family
