Fond memories of Brian during his days in Christchurch ( mid 70´s ). Always a gregarious, fun loving person . Many hilarious moments as him & Chris shared the same humour.
Our thoughts are with all his family during this time of sad loss .

Jane, my deepest condolences to you and your family at this time. My time spent working alongside Brian at Newbolds has been one of the highlights of my working life. As well as being a great boss, he was also extremely generous with his knowledge and time, and was a mentor for me in work as well as life. He lived life to the full and was always looking for the next deal. He will be greatly missed.

I worked for Brian for four years. A great guy and fun place to work on Adelaide Road. We had some great laughs together yet was a genuinely kind caring person and one of life's gentlemen. We had some great laughs with him and some funny stories as he loved a good deal.

I have great memories from working for Brian back at Newbolds Adelaide Road. He shared his wisdom with us and taught us so much about sales and business. Leasons that have stuck with me for the last 25 years. On top of this he was a great person and funny with it. Condolences to Jane and the rest of the family. My thoughts are with you all.

Great memories from working for him on his properties many years ago especially on his country house around Paramata in the 80s/90s. He was a great shot chasing a few rabbits and I showed him how to prepare them for dinner. Very generous with his time and was always genuinely interested in how my
family was. A true gentleman, RIP Brian
