Cecil BEAZLEY Obituary

On July 30, 2025 peacefully at Hutt Hospital; aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of Gwen. Loved father of Lyn, Graham, David, and Allan. Proud grandad of 10, great-grandad of 7, and great-great-grandad of 2. Loved brother and uncle. In lieu of flowers, donations to Forest & Bird would be appreciated and can be made online www.forestandbird.org.nz. Special thanks to all the staff at Hutt Hospital for their kindness and care. A service for Joe will be held in Kingswood, Corner of King & Cairo Streets, Upper Hutt, on Friday, 8 August, 2025 at 10.30am, followed by interment at Akatarawa Cemetery.

To Gwen and family. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Joe.He will live on in all the trees you both planted around Upper Hutt, especially Trentham Memorial Park, where he was often seen pushing a wheelbarrow full of trees to plant.

Dear Gwen and family,
I have attached pictures of Joe and Gwen taken during the planting of the 100,000th tree by Upper Hutt Forest and Bird at Moehau Park, 29th September, 2018. Helping during the planting is Barry Wards, chairman of the branch.
We are sorry to hear of Joe's passing and enjoyed the times we had with Joe.
I am unable to attend the service but Glennis Sheppard intends to be there.
