Chris HARRIS Obituary

HARRIS, Chris. - On the first day of Summer you departed, reluctantly but peacefully on the last adventure of life. I have lost a business partner, wonderful motor-cycle riding companion and very special son. Ride onwards and upwards into the sunshine on your favourite Honda Africa Twin - but don't forget to keep on sending me those job reminder lists to keep me on my toes. With all my love Chris, your Dad, Jolly Mike.

Hi Harris family,

I came across this very sad page as I remembered Chris in a book I am writing.
I am so sorry to hear Chris has passed.
Although it seems such a few short years only that I was welcomed by the Harris Family- I remember the warmth of each of you and I thank you for that warmth so easily shared.
Kind regards

To Ann and Mike
I was surprised and saddened to hear of your very sad loss. Chris was a good friend and I enjoyed our time together at college.

We are saddened with your loss Mike. We knew Chris over the years and he was a great guy. Like yourself, always cheerful, always had time for others. I remember my first encounter with you and Chris back in the 1960's on back country farm trails events. We've been on our own journeys over the years but you've always had time for us in those random encounters. One day I'll meet Chris on the other side and we'll catch up on where we left off...I've heard there are some great roads in heaven..
Our thoughts are with you and the Harris clan...may Chris rest in peace

To Ann, and the Harris motorcycle clan - Riding with you guys and sharing time with the family was fantastic, my thoughts are with you, and as we adventure riders say...the end of the road, isn't the end of the adventure, it's just the beginning.

Jolly Mike, you,Suzy, Ann and all your family are in our hearts and thoughts at this sad time. While Chris now rides the gentle road you have such a rocky one to navigate. It will be a rough ride, eased a little we hope, by the love and support of friends and family. Ride easy dear friends.
