Christina BUDGE-McIVOR Obituary

Of Ōtaki/Lower Hutt, formerly of Wainuiomata. Born 28 February 1956, passed into God's care on 5 July 2025, surrounded by loving family. Throughout Chrissy's courageous battle with melanoma, her deep faith and quiet resilience never wavered. A beloved sister, aunt, and friend, she will be remembered for her love of animals, her beautiful spirit and radiant light. Her kindness and caring presence enriched the lives of all who knew her. A celebration of Christina's life will be held in the New Year, 2026. Details will be shared with family and friends in due course.

We met at Gilbys Business College In 1973. We atteneded each other´s weddings. I remember Chrissy driving her Dad´s Chevrolet Impala into Gilby´s and parking it in a tiny narrow street, I´m sure it took up half the width of the road. We felt so cool eating our lunch whilst sitting in the Chevrolet Impala. I will always remember Chrissy as a warmhearted, free spirited, fun loving and giggly young women. Rest well in His arms dear friend.
