I'm sorry we missed the gathering - we were away and unaware of Colin's passing until yesterday. Colin was a wonderful friend - we shared lots of good times, mostly in and around the Mercedes-Benz Club. The photo is from October 2024, at the Wainuiomata Golf Club, the lunch venue for the last club run that Colin attended. Sincere condolences to you Pat, and family, Colin will be missed very much. Please accept my deepest condolences. I knew Colin for many years since I met him through my tour guiding work. He was always beside of us to support and gave us lots of knowledge and courage from his experiences. I still remember as he is very passionate about vehicles and explained why he named his company called "Crown". We all miss his charm and smile.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Colin Miller“s passing. I had the privilege of meeting Colin through my tour-guiding work in the Wellington region, and the memories of working alongside him have stayed with me ever since.

Colin always brought such warmth and genuine hospitality to his work. His welcoming spirit made every guest feel special, and his professionalism was truly second to none. I often found myself inspired by his ability to balance kindness with deep knowledge, and the engaging way he shared stories about the city and its hidden treasures. Every tour with Colin was a masterclass, not only in guiding, but in how to treat people with respect, patience, and grace.

Even after I moved to another country in 2010, the time I spent working with Colin has remained vivid in my heart. He taught me so much about the places we visited, yes, but also about how to be a better person and a true professional.

Colin will be greatly missed by so many whose lives he touched. My deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and colleagues. May his legacy of kindness, storytelling, and excellence live on in all of us who had the honor of knowing him.

With heartfelt sympathy.
