Together with Nancy, David was a friend of some 50 years whose company we always enjoyed whether in the U.K. where we live or during our visits to New Zealand. A really genuine and charming man and a great friend. We shall always miss him. Nancy our thoughts are with you. We send our love and condolences to you and the family.

A very dear friend from high school & St Paul's youth group in Timaru and stayed in touch over all the 63 years since our wedding in 1962 where David was one of the bridle party. He was a great friend to both our families over his lifetime and loved by us all. One day when we were in Rome we were spotted by David & Nancy in the crowd and we sat down and enjoyed a coffee and a catchup. A very dear friend has gone on ahead of us, so until we meet again, much love dear David.
