David BEST Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Bob Scott Retirement Village, Petone, on Sunday 10th August 2025. Beloved and esteemed husband of Ann. Loved father and father-in-law of Christine & Paul, Alison & Russ, and Wendy. Adored Grandpa of Alister & Morgan, Louise & Cam, and AJ. Grateful thanks for the heartfelt care from the staff at Bob Scott. A service to celebrate David's life will be held at St Augustine's Church, 12 Britannia Street, Petone, on Thursday 21st August 2025 at 11.00am, followed by burial at Makara Cemetery.

My very sincere condolences to the Best Family. David was a tremendous support person to Hutt Valley Olympics when I was Chairperson and Coach in the 1990's. My heart goes out to Ann and Wendy and all the Best family.
