David HOWARD Obituary

14 April 1947 – 28 March 2026
Passed away peacefully at home on 28 March 2026. Beloved husband of Jann. Much loved father and father-in-law of Jamie and Laura, Jarrod and Jess. Cherished Pappy to Ashton, Devon, Taite and Elliott. A memorial service to celebrate David's life will be held at The Hub - Poneke Club Rooms, on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, from 1.00pm to 3.30pm.

Dear Jann & family. Time has passed so quickly from playing our rugby together, meeting you Jann on the boat from Australia (and introducing you to Dave, the best choice he ever made)...it all seems like yesterday. There are many fond memories, most particularly when it was our turn to run on the park. We didn't just play for Poneke we belonged. So sorry we can't be with you to celebrate Dave's wonderful life.
