David JESSOP Obituary

Died peacefully at home on 3rd May 2025, aged 54 years. Dearly loved husband of Fiona. Loved and respected father of Oliver. Loved son, brother and brother-in-law. Loved by his nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations for a community cricket project honouring David would be appreciated and can be made to D.P. Jessop 03 0732 0615270 025. Messages to the Jessop family may be placed in David's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz. or posted C/- PO Box 723 Paraparaumu, 5254. A service to celebrate David's life will be held at the Harbour City Funeral Home Chapel, 300 Kāpiti Road, Paraparaumu, on Wednesday 7th May 2025 at 1.00pm. Following this, please join us at KCU clubrooms, Weka Park, Raumati Beach. Bring your 'David' stories and and let's share some food and drink together.

OMG, Fiona, I am so sorry to learn of Dave's passing. I can't quite believe it, to be honest. He was such a beautiful, charismatic person. Although I hadn't been in contact with him in recent years, I often think back to the World Cup game where we caught up at the pub on the waterfront. I loved his passion. Whenever our paths crossed in town, he was always keen for a chat and telling me about you both. I will miss him. My love to you and Oliver take care xx,
