Passed suddenly on 18 February 2026, aged 79 years. Loving husband of Laraine, father/father in-law to Peter, Anita, Laurie and Dave. Treasured grandad to Eden, Mitchell and Dylan. A man of quiet strength and loyalty who will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. A private cremation has taken place, in keeping with his wishes. Sincere thanks to the ICU team at Hutt Hospital for their care and compassion; and the support and kindness of friends, family and the community at Shona McFarlane Village. Please raise a glass in his memory.
