Gary SCARLET Obituary

With deep sadness our beloved Gary passed away on 12th April 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Gary was the life partner of Sonia. Son of Neville Scarlet and Georgina Ruth Anderson. Brother and uncle to Vivian (& Chris Kan, Grace, Aimee and Caleb) and Blair (& Karie-Ann Scarlet). Gary had three beautiful daughters, Caitlin Scarlet (& Douglas Thomas and beloved grandson Zane Thomas), Taylor Booth, and Fern Scarlet. Gary was son-in-law to Bill & Liz Lowe. He was brother-in-law and uncle to the following:
Lisa & Neil, Hayden, Daniel and Rhys. Greg & Teesh, Arabella. Special mention of Kahn West, a beloved family friend. Please send condolences and sympathy cards to the family via Sonia Lowe, 264c Adelaide Road, Wellington 6021.

Gary. you were the greatest advocate for childrens sports. keeping neighbourhoods safe from speeding vehicles up and around the "Bay."
Always the one to greet another with "Good aye mate" and offer words of encouragement and confidence....community was every thing as too was your garden and family.
You didn't have a lot BUT you gave so much to others and they went away feeling wealthier in confidence and healthier in them selves.

Gary, to a great cousin growing up. Missed the years since, apart from a quick catchup in Wellington a few years ago. Know you loved your kids. So sorry I will not get to see you again.
