Dear Rose and Family I was told on the phone last night by my good mate Andy Ball That Gordon had died - It was a complete shock as we both trained in 2003 to become Secondary Teachers - He always had a smile and great person to be around - always cracking jokes - he indeed will be sadly missed and I am so taken a back that he died so early

Dear Rose and family,
So sorry to hear of Gordon's passing, my sincere condolences to you, the children and your family.
I remember meeting Gordon and your children at the AXA FUN run a few years back now, I have the pics, he was a very warm and friendly person and laughed a lot, which was very infectious.
I wish you strength and courage through this time.
I'm sorry I missed the funeral but I am sure it was an amazing send off, celebrating Gordon's life.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
God Bless,
Pam Francis

My friend and old flatmate of nearly 30 years......

Oh Xia Lan, I am so glad I saw Gordon and you the other weekend. As always he was a man of understatement and total dignity. I wish you, Nadia and Brandon comfort in the time ahead and trust that Gordon is now at peace.

Hello Xia Lan, Nadia and Brandon. Firstly, my sincere condolences on the loss of your dear husband and father. I never actually met Gordon, but we worked together to implement some new systems at my work. We chatted over the phone about our families and became friends. We always meant to meet up at some stage, but life happened and we never did. I still find that strange!
Gordon was a lovely man, he helped me very much when my role was disestablished. He always spoke so proudly of you all,and of all of your achievements. God bless, Kirsty xx
