Gordon SOLLOWAY Obituary

Gordon passed peacefully at Coastal Villas Care Centre, Paraparaumu on 9 January 2026, aged 96. Much loved husband of Jan. Loving father and father-in-law to Graeme and Deborah, David and Cynthia, and Catherine and Don. Loved brother of Patricia Clarke (dec). Grandad to Rob, Jared, Joe, Troy, Merryn, Callum and Sarah and great-grandad to Finn. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Coastal Villas Care Centre for their support and care of Dad over the past two years. A service to celebrate Gordon's life will be held at Kapiti Funeral Home, 9/11 Hinemoa Street, Paraparaumu at 2pm on Thursday, 15 January 2026. www.kcfhstream.nz

Gordon was a friendly smiley part of our men's group at Waikanae gym for many years. My condolences to Jan and family. From Richard Byrne I am in Auckland for the men's tennis so will not be at the service but I would have come otherwise. Gordon would have loved mention of the tennis!
