Graeme COLGATE Obituary

Late of Seatoun – On 14 February 2025, peacefully at home, aged 75 years. Son of Naureen and Len Colgate. Loved by sisters Carol and Lynn (Bialy) and his nieces and nephews. Proud 'Dad' of Nick (Seattle). Special thanks to Philippa for her care and support of Graeme. In lieu of flowers donations to Mary Potter Hospice would be appreciated and may be made online at marypotter.org.nz. Messages to the Colgate family may be left in Graeme's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 14366, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241. As per Graeme's wishes a private funeral Mass has taken place. A memorial Mass will be held at St Antony's Catholic Church, Seatoun, Wellington at a later advised date.

It is so terribly sad to lose another school friend from St Pat's in Wellington. Graeme was an excellent fellow class friend so many years ago, and I believe that he never changed, that generosity of spirit, that kindness stayed with him throughout the rest of his life. I am glad to have known him

I have have known Graeme and his lovely family all my life.
My father ( Douglas ) was Len's brother.
Graeme has always been a considerate , kind and caring person towards me and I am already missing him dearly.

What a legend, I have known Graeme since I was a young boy. A friend to our family for many years. So many good memories. From work to frienship Graeme would never let you down.
