Hayden ROGERS Obituary

Passed away suddenly on June 14th, 2025, aged 49. Beloved partner of Louise and devoted father of Reini and Connor. Cherished son of Sandy and Kevin (deceased), stepson of Chris (deceased) and good mate of Al. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Nichola and Greg, and Lynda, son-in-law of John and Lorraine, uncle of Courtney and Jessica. A great friend, whānau member and colleague to many. Messages to family may be posted to: c/ 306 Willis Street, Aro Valley, Wellington 6011. A funeral service for Hayden will be held at Lychgate Funeral Home, 7 Johnsonville Road, Johnsonville, Wellington at 1.00pm, Friday, 4th July, 2025. Please note there is no parking at the venue so please allow extra time.

I´m so sorry to hear of Hayden´s passing. I employed him 100 years ago at EFTPOS NZ and he was such a bright shining light and we all loved him and he was such a terrific guy to work and hang out with (he even bought my water bed - which became a great joke about how he got to sleep in the boss´s bed). He was always good banter and the world is a poorer place for not having him here. My sincere condolences to the whole family.

Our sincere condolences to the family, Hayden created an intranet system for our growing company and during that time worked closely with us all to complete our wish lists. A very sad loss, RIP Hayden from the Team at Metco Engineering.
